LOS LUNAS, N.M. (KRQE) - Four people were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-car crash that shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 in Los Lunas for about six hours.
According to Los Lunas police a northbound Pontiac crossed the median at 11:30 a.m. and was struck on the passenger side by a southbound Ford south of the Los Lunas exit.
There were a man and a woman in both cars, and all four were taken to a hospital. Three of the people suffered non-critical injuries, but one is considered in critical condition, police said.
The investigation is continuing, and as of 6 p.m. the southbound lanes had reopened.
