ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque woman said she was held at gunpoint and carjacked at a park Tuesday night. The suspects are still on the run.
Melissa Torrez said she was at West Bluff Park nears Coors and I-40 with friends when three men showed up.
She said they walked past her and her friends and headed toward her car.
Torrez says she walked over to see what they were doing and that's when she and her friends were held at gunpoint. She said the men demanded that she hand over her keys and purse, then all but one of them took off in her car.
"It was really scary. I got really bad nervous breakdown," said Torrez. "Officers asked if I need an ambulance and I told him, "No, I'm fine.' I was just really scared. Really scared."
Police located her car today. Torrez describes the men as in their early 20s.
