RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) - A man was taken into custody early Friday morning after barricading himself inside a Rio Rancho home.
Timothy De Angelo was booked on charges of assault with intent to commit a violent felony, false imprisonment and interference with communications, aggravated batter and negligent use of a deadly weapon.
Just before 7 p.m. Thursday Rio Rancho police received a call regarding a possible domestic incident at a residence. When they arrived at the scene De Angelo allegedly barricaded himself inside the home and fired at least one round.
Officers are currently still on the scene on Procyon Court investigating.
