ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Agents of numerous agencies fanned out across Sierra County last week armed with arrest warrants for suspected drug offenders.
A total of 21 felony warrants and three misdemeanor warrants were served during the Sept. 4 roundup, according to a statement from New Mexico State Police.
Additional felony and misdemeanor drug charges were filed against some of the suspects based on drugs found during the roundup.
State Police, the Truth or Consequences Police Department and the Seventh Judicial District Attorney's Office were joined in the warrant sweep by agents of several federal agencies and the Region Seven Metro Task Force.
