ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The trial for a man accused of murdering an Oklahoma couple in New Mexico will start Monday.
John McCluskey and Tracy Province escaped from an Arizona prison in 2010.
With the help of Casslyn Welch, they allegedly carjacked a couple that stopped at a rest stop.
The couple's burnt trailer was found just days after the escape.
In a plea deal, Province and Welch agreed to testify against McCluskey.
Jury selection is scheduled for Monday and is expected to take three weeks.
The trial itself could last three months.
McCluskey faces the death penalty if convicted.
