ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The mastermind behind a massive identity theft operation faces 60 years in prison.
Jessica Saiz was emotional in court Wednesday as she pled guilty to 54 of the 151 counts she was facing, including racketeering, forgery and fraud.
She was arrested in 2011 .
According to the secret service, Saiz was in charge of at least two dozen other codefendants.
They would take information from checks stolen from mailboxes, cars and businesses, to make fake checks.
Saiz will be sentenced at a later date.
