ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The man, who rescued a kidnapped Albuquerque girl, testified at the accused abductor's trial Wednesday.
Prosecutors say in August 2011 Phillip Garcia grabbed the 6-year-old and forced her into his van at the south valley mobile home park where she lived.
Antonio Diaz Chacon, a neighbor, testified he heard the girl scream and saw the van drive off, so he got into his truck and chased after it:
The van crashed a short time later, the kidnapper took off and Chacon rescued the girl.
On the stand Wednesday Chacon identified Garcia as the kidnapper.
