ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man facing child abuse charges for allegedly leaving his 7-month-old son in a hot car for hours is on the run.
Albuquerque police are looking for Juan Flores, 33, for not showing up to court in a different case for aggravated assault in June.
Police said the baby's mother, Erica Garcia, left the baby in Flores' care.
When she returned hours later, they realized their son was still in the car.
He suffered a stroke and seizures.
Flores admitted to police he used heroin that day and was arrested.
