HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) - A Hobbs other has learned that the human remains found in West Texas last month do not belong to her missing daughter.
Jennifer Wilkerson, 25 , vanished from Lubbock in 2004 while on her way home. In mid-March human remains were found in Scurry County, Texas – about 80 miles southeast of Lubbock.
Wilkerson's mother feared the bones belonged to her daughter.
Investigators recently determined that those bones belonged to 13-year-old Haily Dunn . Dunn vanished in 2010 while walking home from a friend's house.
The boyfriend of Dunn's mother remains a suspect in the case but has never been charged
