ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A mother is in jail accused of driving high on prescription drugs and crashing her car with her toddler inside.
Brandi Marquez was arrested this weekend after a call to Drunk Busters.
The caller saw Marquez drive into several curbs and the barrier on I-25 then nearly crash into a business.
She says she also saw Marquez's 3-year-old bouncing around the car, nearly flying through the window at one point.
Officers say Marquez admitted to taking xanex earlier that night and didn't have a valid license.
It was revoked in 2008 because of a DWI.
Marquez is now charged with child abuse.
