ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Not as many people are using the Albuquerque Sunport these days.
New Mexico's largest airport saw a 19 percent drop in passenger traffic from 2007 to 2012.
The Albuquerque Journal is reporting the Sunport also saw a decline in the number of daily departures and has lost nonstop service to a dozen destinations since 2008, something that's expected to continue to happen until 2016.
On the upside, JetBlue is scheduled to launch daily nonstop flights between Albuquerque and New York's JFK Airport on April 22.
