ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque inventor has landed a big deal that will make snacking at sporting events a little easier.
Randy Asselin came up with the idea for Rocktops , a food tray that sits on top of a drink anchored by a straw.
It debuted in 2011 at Lobo football games and now it'll be at ballparks, amusement parks and theaters across the country.
That is because Asselin has signed a deal with the ice cream chain Dippin' Dots.
Dippin' Dots will carry three different Rocktops trays, including this one that allows the ice cream to be served on top of a fountain drink.
