ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A lucky group of New Mexicans got the chance to see The Lone Ranger Wednesday nighy, a week before the rest of the state.
The local cast and crew of the Disney movie, along with a few state legislators and Disney higher-ups, got an advanced preview at Century Rio 24.
The flick starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer filmed around New Mexico. According to Disney's executive vice president of physical production, they'll be back.
"Definitely, we think of it as a long term relationship with the state of New Mexico. With these gentlemen, with the governor, we hope it'll be a long and fruitful relationship," Tony To with the Walt Disney Company said.
The Lone Ranger opens on Wednesday July 3rd.
