ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The baby rhino at the Rio Grande zoo will be called Chopper.
More than 500 Facebook fans voted for that name to honor a man named Jimmy "Chopper" Abalos, who died in 2010.
Abalos sponsored multiple little league and adult teams all called the Rhinos.
Chopper the rhino will not make his public debut for a few more months, but the zoo says he's doing well.
