ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - High winds are blowing through much of the state and more is coming Wednesday afternoon.
Wind gusts in Albuquerque were up to 47 miles per hour Wednesday morning.
That combined with snow in other parts of New Mexico made for difficult driving conditions.
State police responded to a rollover on I-25 near La Bajada just after 8 o’clock Wednesday morning.
Police say the driver had minor injuries after his white Ford pickup slid out of control and off the highway.
No one else was hurt.
Roads were slick as snow came down in the Santa Fe area and east of Albuquerque at Sedillo Hill.
Snow plows cleared the roads and you can see the wind really picking up out there up north and here in Albuquerque.
That can mean reduced visibility and cross winds that will make driving tough.
A good idea at this point is to bring in those outside Christmas decorations before they blow away.
As for snow goes, people southwest of Cuba saw the most snow from this latest storm.
The national weather service is reporting eight inches there.
