Snowy and icy roads in northern NM

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - The New Mexico Department of Transportation reports severe driving conditions on Interstate 25 from Tinaja to Raton Pass where it's snowing light to moderate. The wind is blowing at 50 mph creating zero visibility. Crews are out plowing, salting and cindering.

I-25 has fair driving conditions from Wagon Mound to Watrous with light accumulation on both lanes.

Elsewhere, U.S. 64/87 has severe driving conditions from TO Ranch to Raton and there are severe driving conditions reported on U.S. 64 from the junction of New Mexico 505 to the Junction of Interstate 25.
