ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Sandia Peak Ski area is finally opening after a dry start to the winter.
Sandia will open the beginner's area on Saturday.
The resort is hurting for snow in the past two storms, they've only gotten about four inches total and nothing out of today's storm, but they are making their own snow.
