Similar totals were reported at Bonito Lake in the Little Bear Fire scar in Lincoln County and at Glenwood below the Whitewater Baldy burn in the Gila National Forest.
About 0.25 inches of hail was reported on the ground near Fourth Street NW and Montaño Road in Albuquerque.
KRQE News 13 Chief Meteorologist Mark Ronchetti reported numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected during the evening becoming scattered after midnight.
