ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A Colorado woman died and four people traveling with her were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 25 Saturday morning.
The crash happened about 10 a.m. in the southbound lanes about two miles south of the exit to Santo Domingo Pueblo, the Sandoval County Sheriff's Office reported.
According to investigators a southbound Infiniti struck the rear of a four-door Dodge 1500 pickup truck pulling a U-haul trailer. The truck overturned ejecting three of the five occupants.
Susan Kratt, 51, was thrown from the truck and died from her injuries. Antoinette Burns, 52, and Alissa Touart, 13, also were ejected while Karl Kratt, 50, Roy Burns, 48, remained inside.
The survivors were taken to Albuquerque hospitals where there medical conditions are not known.
The driver of the Infiniti, Miles Martinez, 23, was taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe. His medical condition also has not been released.
Sandoval County deputies are still investigation the crash.
The truck was en route from Colorado Springs, Colo., to Nevada, they said. Martinez is believed to be a resident of the Albuquerque area.
