PNM clears power line after crash

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A traffic collision has brought down a light pole and power line closing a section of Candelaria Road NE Wednesday afternoon, the Albuquerque Police Department reported.

At about 3:30 p.m. the eastbound lanes were closed at Juan Tabo Boulevard.

A PNM spokesperson said a utility crew had removed the live wire from the road by 4 p.m.  The loss of the light-pole line did not cause a power outage, the spokesperson added.

All traffic lanes were back open by 4:30 p.m., according to APD.

Details of the crash were not immediately available.
