Motorcyclist seriously hurt in crash

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A motorcycle and SUV tangled at a northwest Albuquerque intersection Friday afternoon sending the rider to a hospital with serious injuries.
The collision at Golf Course Road NW and McMahon Boulevard happened about 2:45 p.m.
A medical helicopter was called to transport the injured biker due to the severity of his injuries, an Albuquerque Police Department spokesperson said.
Neither the biker nor the driver of the SUV have been identified.
At last report northbound traffic through the intersection remained blocked.
