ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A sudden turn on Interstate 25 led to a crash than killed an 87-year-old Belen man Monday morning.
Los Lunas police report Thomas Leyba of Belen was headed north on I-25 in the right lane when he suddenly turned his 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer into the left lane.
Already in the left lane were two people in a 2008 Pontiac who were unable to avoid a collision with the left rear of the Trailblazer. That sent both vehicles spinning into the median south of the Los Lunas exit.
