Lobos, fans prepare for 1st MWC game

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Get ready lobo fans!!
    
The Lobos hit the hardwood in Las Vegas Wednesday night.
    
The Lobo men’s basketball team will take on the Wyoming Cowboys in the Mountain West Conference Tournament.
    
The team has been there since Monday getting ready for the tournament and getting ready for the fans that always bring the cherry and silver.

”That's who our fans are and that's why we appreciate our program,” Coach Steve Alford said. “It’s an honor to run this program because of the fans.”
    
If the Lobos win Wednesday they will take on the winner of the San Diego State and Boise State game on Friday.
