ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Winter may be in the air for the Luminaria Tour, but so is love.
That's why this year ABQ Ride is touting this year's event as "Love on the Luminaria Tour, 2012."
Back in 2006, Jonathan Blaich was taking the Luminaria Tour with his family, when he ran into Meg Radigan, a girl he went to La Cueva High School with.
They got reacquainted on the tour and kept in touch and in 2009, the two got married.
”During my bus ride while I was watching the luminarias I knew I needed to talk to her afterwards so that I could contact her, so I asked her for her phone number and email address and actually the next day or a couple days after, I asked her out for new years,” Blaich said.
Monday night, Jon and Meg will be in the bus loading area handing out candy kisses to passengers.
