Toys for Tots in need of donations

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Toys for Tots says the numbers of families in need of presents this Christmas is on pace to set a record this year – although so far the amount of donations received has not been so record breaking.

Last year Toys for Tots handed out over 7,000 gifts to needy children in the Albuquerque area.  This year they expect to have at least 3,000 more kids in need this holiday, meanwhile donations are way down.

As the deadline for families to register for help nears, Toys for Tots organizers are asking for the communities help.

For information on where you can donate to Toys for Tots visit their website.
