ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Officials say the bones found in northwest Albuquerque Wednesday were not human.

Some crews working to repair a gas leak Wednesday made an uncanny discovery when they dug up some bones.

Bernalillo County Sheriffs responded to the scene on 4th street in northwest Albuquerque around 2 p.m.

Two hours later OMI determined those bones to be non-human.
