ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - New Mexico lawmakers were bombarded with complaints from frustrated voters who pointed out issues in November’s general election.

The meeting, held Saturday in Santa Fe, was a chance for voters to voice their concerns with state lawmakers.

The Santa Fe New Mexican reports the complaints heard ranged from long waits at polling locations, a limited number of voting machines and a lack of Spanish-speaking translators.

Some people at the meeting said they waited at least three hours in lines.

They also said there was little guidance from signage or Spanish-language documents.

The committee is expected to pass along the testimony to Secretary of State Dianna Duran’s office.
