ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - There is a new ad blasting New Mexico's delegation to the Democratic National Convention, and it's in Spanish.
The Bernalillo county GOP says the ad takes aim at state Rep. Sheryl Williams Stapleton of Albuquerque because she called Gov. Susana Martinez a "Mexican" during a heated hallway exchange with a Republican representative in December.
Williams Stapleton, the Democratic National Committeewoman for New Mexico, apologized to both the governor and the other representative for the remark..
