PTSD discussed at medical marijuana hearing

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The state secretary of health will decide if post traumatic stress disorder will be removed from the list of conditions that allow people to get marijuana legally.

About 3,000 people with PTSD are enrolled in the medical cannabis program in New Mexico.

A retired psychiatrist petitioned the medical advisory board Wednesday to remove PTSD from the list.

The board turned him down.
