Mother, son killed in Las Cruces crash

LAS CRUCES (KRQE) - A woman and her teenage son are dead after a grisly crash.
Marcia Parra, 35, and Keian Padilla, 15, were killed when a small SUV crossed the unfenced median, ramped into the air and hit their black, four-door sedan on highway 70 in Las Cruces Wednesday morning.
Shauna Halladay, 21, was driving the SUV when it rolled at least once and ejected her after the collision.
She was airlifted to a hospital in El Paso and is in stable condition.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
