SANTA FE (KRQE) - If you've had problems getting what you've needed from the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, the state's labor agency says it has some good news.

A spokesperson says the department's new computer system has been fixed, which should have freed up almost 7,000 weeks of benefits for about 3,100 claimants.

Earlier this month, the department saw some unusually long delays after the new system went online.

The Santa Fe New Mexican reports last-minute federal extension of emergency benefits had been delayed.
