Nearly starved dog returned to owner

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) - Controversy over a nearly starved boxer dog is stirring in Roswell.

The Roswell Daily Record reports the dog showed up at Roswell Animal Services sometime last month.

Now Roswell Municipal Judge Larry Loy returned the dog to the animal's owners and that has prompted protests.
