SHIPROCK, N.M. (KRQE) - The FBI is investigating the death of a Shiprock teenager as a possible hit and run.

The body of 19-year-old Brittany Hadley was found just after 4 a.m. September 26th along U.S. 64 near Hogback.

The investigation into what caused her death continues, but an FBI spokesperson says based on the injuries she suffered Hadley may have been hit by a car.

The FBI is asking the public if they saw something unusual in that area to call them.
