ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police say racing may be to blame for a crash that claimed the life of a Socorro man.

Oscar Bilbao, 26, was a passenger in a truck when the driver lost control just before midnight on I-10 Thursday.

The truck cut across the interstate rolling three times before it burst into flames.

Police are not sure why the driver, Daniel Serrano, 22, lost control.

Witnesses told police that there may have been another car racing Serrano.

The investigation continues.
