ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque city councilors are expected to set aside tens of millions of dollars Monday for the Paseo Del Norte, I-25 reconstruction project.
A resolution on Monday's agenda would commit up to $50 million for part of the project.
The resolution would also change the requirement that the state kick in matching money.
The state is set to pitch in about $30 million, but that's not a finished deal yet.
Bernilillio County is contributing $5 million.
The first phase calls for $93 million.
Overall, it's expected to add up to more than $350 million.
