ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - If you've been wanting to add a dog to your family, they're free this weekend at Albuquerque's animal shelters.
They're so overcrowded they're giving away dogs that are a year or older for free.
All you have to do is go the city shelters on the east or west sides, bring an ID and pass a background check.
All the dogs have their shots and have been spayed or neutered.
