Mayflower food drive begins Friday
Annual event donates collected food to Storehouse

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The annual food drive "Thanksgiving On The Mayflower" is beginning on Friday. Radio station KZRR-FM, 94 Rock will be hosting the collection in the Albertson's parking lot near Montgomery and San Mateo in Northeast Albuquerque.
All the food collected will be donated to the Storehouse, a local charitable organization which gives food to less fortunate families.
Over 100,000 pounds of food were collected in 2011. This includes monetary donations which will also be collected this year.
