ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Employees at a hospital in Albuquerque are learning the hospital is about to layoff dozens of employees.
Lovelace Hospital has announced 80 workers will loose their jobs.
The cuts are due to restructuring and an effort to save money.
Lovelace Hospital employs 4,000 people.
This is just the latest round of bad news about Albuquerque’s economy.
Last week, Schott Solar announced it would be cutting 250 jobs.
