Job fair to fill 200 positions at Target

New store in NE ABQ set to open March 2010

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Starting on Thursday, Target Brands Incorporated, owner of the Target Store Chain will be holding a job fair to fill 200 positions at their new store in Albuquerque. The new location is on the Southeast corner of Indian School and Louisiana Boulevard.

With only two months away from officially opening their doors, Target executives are anxious to get those positions filled and they're holding a set of job fairs to do just that. Store executives say the team member positions are all in different departments throughout the facility.

Construction on the 155,000 square foot facility started earlier in 2012. According to a press release from Target, the store is slated to be a one-of-its-kind here in the state.

This will also be the tenth location around New Mexico and the fifth in Albuquerque alone. Store officials say the opening of another location in the city is not only good for Target, but for bringing more jobs to the economy.

The Target job fair will run from Thursday through Saturday at the Marriott Uptown near Louisiana Boulevard and I-40.

Thursday & Friday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
