ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man charged in a deadly home invasion has now been charged with stabbing an officer in the face.
Jimmy Reagan , 31, has been moved to a different prison equipped to handle violent inmates after he allegedly stabbed an officer in the face.
Police say he used a pencil to stab the detention officer in the face.
Reagan faces several charges including murder in connection to a home invasion last June.
He’s also accused of raping a woman and killing her boyfriend and then taking two other woman hostage.
Now Reagan faces additional chargers of battery on a peace officer.
