ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Hundreds of new jobs may soon be available in New Mexico.

The board for the job training incentives program approved nearly $1.4 million dollars in funding for three companies.

A huge bulk of that money will be used to create 308 jobs at alliance Data Systems, a call center in Rio Rancho that provides customer service for major retail companies' credit cards.

The rest of the money will go to a biomass tech company in Albuquerque and a Taos company that designs skincare products and cosmetics.

The state program gives businesses money to help train and pay workers for up to six months.
