ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A fire in the 3,200 block of Madeira in northeast Albuquerque overnight did some serious damage to a home.

When city firefighters got the dispatch, the caller said there might be someone inside the house.

Upon arrival crews forced entry to perform search and rescue, but found that no one was inside.

Firefighters contained the blaze to the garage which they say is where it started.

No injures reported.

Crews stayed on scene making sure nothing sparked back up.

The cause is unknown.
