ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A family in Albuquerque is very thankful after firefighters saved their dog Wednesday.

The family's home on Prairie, near Montgomery and San Pedro, caught fire about 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon.

Everyone got out okay, but the dog was still inside.

That's when firefighters went in, got the pooch out and put out the fire.

They have not said what started it.
