ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque voters said get rid of them and late Monday night the city council finally agreed.
In a five to four vote Albuquerque city councilors decided the red light cameras and 14 intersections should go dark.
Along with cameras the city will also do away with the four speed vans that are run by Redflex, the same company that operates the red light cameras.
Both the cameras and vans should be gone within sixty days.
