Bernalillo County takes step back in time

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Get ready to take a step into history.

Bernalillo County is just about ready to display months of hard work gathering pictures, old logs and documents filed decades ago.

It’s all part of a brand new exhibit depicting the past 100 years of change.

As the county joins in on the centennial celebrations for the state, county officials didn't just capture the moment in pictures, old maps of downtown Albuquerque tell the story, too.

Soon, old documents filed with the county will join the display.

The Bernalillo County Centennial Hall History Exhibit will be on the 6th and 10th floor of the county building at 1 Civic Plaza.

The display will open August 3rd and run through October 31st.

Many of the pictures do not have names attached to the faces, so county officials hope those who visit can fill in the blanks.
