Arts, crafts event opening Friday

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - If you love arts and crafts the Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival kicks off Friday morning.

The six-day event features arts from all over the country.

The festival is located off Interstate 25 and Paseo del Norte.

Admission is $8 for adults; kids 12 and under are free.

The festival coincides with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Organizers also stage festivals at Expo New Mexico in the spring and at Thanksgiving.
