ABQ celebrates Founders Day in Old Town

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - It was a special day in old town Saturday as thousands celebrated Founders Day with quite the fiesta.

The city of Albuquerque is now 306 years old and old town visitors celebrated with drumming, flamenco dancing and live music.

There was also a costume contest where people could dress to represent several different eras in Albuquerque’s history.
