2,000 electric customers lose power

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) - A contractor working in Rio Rancho hit a power line Wednesday morning and knocked out service to about 2,000 PNM customers, the utility reported.

The outages is in the area of Unser and Northern Boulevards.

Services was expected to be restored before 1 p.m.
