South Fork Fire prompts public meeting

ESPANOLA, N.M. (KRQE) - A public meeting will be held June 13 at 2 p.m. at the Espanola City Council Chambers about the South Fork Fire.

The 650-acre fire on the Espanola Ranger District is 0 percent contained because of high winds and heavy fuels.

Preparation is being made for potential burnout operations along Forest Roads 144 and 27.
