ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The Rio Grande Zoo has some new additions to their family as four lemurs begin to settle in.
They came to New Mexico a couple weeks ago from the Bronx Zoo and went public just a few days ago.
“We had lemurs probably about 10 years ago and they were always the public’s favorite and the staff's favorite so for us to get lemurs back is very exciting,” Lynn Tupa said.
Tupa says the best time to see the lemurs in action right now is in the morning and late afternoon, but as the weather cools down they should be more active throughout the day.
